The Trevi brand was selected by Don Stefano, inspired by the Fontana di Trevi
(Fountain of Trevi), located in his native Italy, specifically in Rome.

Today Trevi in Venezuela, is synonymous with Gasified (Sparkling) Water.

ORIGIN OF THE TREVI BRAND

Trevi was founded by Don Stefano Santeramo in the late 1950's in Montesano Estado Vargas. Don Stefano, was a laborious son of Italy, born in Bari, a shoemaker by profession, who made his America in his adopted country of Venezuela.

Unfortunately in 1999, the plant closed its doors as a result of the landslide of Vargas that completely destroyed its facilities.

Beginning in 2007, the company began re-developing the company PET type containers. In April 2011, Trevi is officially re-launched in the original green bottle (250 ml).

Relevant aspects of the word Trevi:

The word Trevi, comes from the decomposition of two words of the Italian language Tre and Vie, which mean, three roads. The three roads refer to the crossing of three streets of Imperial Rome, where they coincided in its center, with the ancient Acqua Vergine aqueduct in Rome. The aqueduct Acqua Vergine, was located only 22 kilometers from Rome (today, in the center of Rome, next to Piazza di Spagna or Plaza España). The legend says that its location, only 22 kilometers away, is due to the help provided by the Virgin of Water to the Roman technicians in charge of its construction.

The fountain that we know today, which is today a world tourist reference, was built at the request of Pope Clement XII, completed in 1762, originally designed by the Italian architect Nicola Salvi, and slightly modified in its design by the disciple of Benedetto Luti, Giovanni Pannini.
